Oak Frame Buildings
J.H. Payne Building Contractors were contacted by a local East Sussex family who were looking to extend upon their existing property in order to create a family room.
Our team of expert builders from East Sussex soon understood the best way to do this and recommended constructing an oak frame extension, utilising dwarf walls, oak trusses and beams and a glazed gable end.
Once the frame was in place, double glazed window units were installed to ensure that the extension was as energy efficient as possible, with oak window sills and skirtings installed to complete the finishing.
Finally, to keep the room warm in winter, underfloor heating was installed.
